What is Escape from School: Runaway?
You play a schoolboy trapped in his own school after flipping the calendar to autumn, and now you've gotta sneak out by cracking riddles and solving puzzles across creepy 3D halls. It's a first-person escape game where you wander dark corridors, poke at objects, and try not to get caught. Fans of short horror puzzle games will get a kick out of it, especially if you've got 15-20 minutes to kill. If you want action or combat though, this isn't it. It's a slow-burn creepy vibe, not a jump-scare fest, so keep your expectations in check before you boot it up.

How to Play Escape from School: Runaway
You load in, the school feels empty, and you start walking the hallways picking up clues. Each room you enter has some kind of puzzle or riddle, and you'll use the hint button when you get stuck because some of these are head-scratchers. A full run takes maybe 20-30 minutes depending on how fast you solve stuff. My first mistake was sprinting through the opening hallway without reading the chalkboard. Turns out there's a tiny clue there that makes the first door puzzle way easier. Also, crouch often. You miss items when you're standing at full height, and some areas you literally can't fit through upright.

Why Choose Escape from School: Runaway
It's free, it loads fast, and the puzzles actually make you think instead of holding your hand. Compared to bigger horror games it won't eat your evening, which is the whole point. The mobile controls work fine but desktop feels way smoother, so play where you can.
