Blast Miner Review: Digging Down, Getting Rich, Getting Stuck

You control a miner trying to reach the center of a planet. You use a drill to get through dirt and a rocket launcher for hard rocks. The goal is to mine ores, sell them, and upgrade your gear to go deeper. You keep going until you hit the core and grab the stars. If you like idle games where you watch numbers go up, you’ll like this. It’s also good if you want to play something with pixel art but don’t want a hard platformer. It might be too slow if you want constant action.

You start on the surface and dig your way down. You collect ores and cash until your inventory is full, then you have to fly back up to sell them. It takes about 5 minutes per run early on. You use that cash to buy bigger drills and more ammo. Don't shoot everything immediately or you’ll run out of ammo fast. The rockets cost money to refill, so use them only on the colored ores. You hit a wall around level 5 where you need to grind previous levels to afford upgrades.

This game is great if you want to chill and grind without much stress. It feels like Motherload but simpler. Just don't expect a deep story—this is about clicking and watching numbers grow.
