You spawn as a small territory on a huge map and have to take over the world. The goal is to capture 72% of the globe to win, which takes a while. You manage armies, build structures, and attack neighbors to expand your land. It is a casual war game that feels a lot like a simplified Risk, but real-time and faster. If you like slow strategy games or painting maps, you will enjoy this. If you want fast shooter action, look elsewhere because this is mostly about clicking and waiting.

The game starts you off small, and you immediately have to balance attacking and defending. You use the number keys 1 and 2 to adjust your attack ratio, deciding how many troops to send out. The early game is about grabbing neutral land, but once you meet other players, the real fight starts. It gets messy fast when borders collide. I made the mistake of sending all my troops to one front, leaving my capital open for a neighbor to swoop in and steal. A round can last anywhere from a quick five minutes to a long grind depending on how big the map is.

Pick this if you want a strategy game you can play for 10 minutes without installing anything. It is not as deep as a full RTS, but the map control mechanics are solid. The graphics are simple, which is good because it runs on anything, but the menu system feels clunky sometimes. It is a decent time waster if you like territory games.
