What is Idle Planet Destroyer?
You click planets to deal damage, they blow up, and you collect stardust. Spend that stardust on upgrades ranging from Laser Pistols to Antimatter Bombs all the way up to Reality Erasers. The weapon list gets pretty ridiculous as you go. Progression is mostly passive once you build up enough firepower, so you can let it run in a tab while doing other stuff. Fans of incremental clickers who like big number-go-up vibes will probably dig it. If you hate idle games or want actual gameplay challenges, skip it. Also not great if you're looking for story or variety — it's just planet-smashing on repeat with shinier weapons.

How to Play Idle Planet Destroyer
A typical session starts with clicking the planet in front of you until you've got enough stardust for your first Laser Pistol. After that, upgrades start ticking damage on their own, so you can slow down. Within five minutes you've probably unlocked Micro Drones, and by ten you've got stuff auto-firing in the background. You jump between planets as you out-level them, and each one drops more stardust. Early on I wasted a bunch of stardust on cosmetics I didn't need instead of pushing damage upgrades. Don't be like me — damage first, then worry about the shiny stuff. Also the menu's a little clunky at first when you're hunting for specific upgrades.

Why Choose Idle Planet Destroyer
Compared to other clickers, Idle Planet Destroyer leans hard into the power fantasy. You're not grinding for tiny percentage boosts — you're upgrading from a pistol to literal reality-breaking tech within an hour. The 2D art style's nothing crazy but it doesn't get in the way. Weakness? It plateaus if you're not into the idle loop, and the early game is slower than I'd like.
