What is Stilts Run?
Stilts Run drops you into a 3D course where you guide a character on stilts across gaps, platforms, and tight walkways. You press and hold the mouse button to keep walking, then release to stop at the right moment. The catch is your momentum — let go too late and you tumble off the edge, stop too early and you don't make the jump. It's framed as a walking game for all ages, but the precision needed feels more like a puzzle than a casual stroll. It's a good pick if you want something weird and short to mess around with between bigger games. Not gonna lie though, if you're after flashy graphics or deep mechanics, this isn't it. It's bare-bones, but that one-button setup has a weird grip on you after a few runs.

How to Play Stilts Run
A typical session lasts maybe 10-15 minutes before you start getting frustrated or hooked, whichever comes first. You load in, see your stilt-walker at the start of a track, and just hold the mouse button to start walking. The camera follows behind you as you shuffle forward, and you have to release the button at the right spots to stop on platforms, line up jumps, and avoid walking off edges. Each level throws in tighter gaps and longer stretches where you can't stop. My first mistake was holding the button way too long trying to 'build up speed' — turns out there's no speed to build. The whole game is just about timing your stops. Levels ramp up pretty fast too, so by your third or fourth run you're dealing with longer gaps and thinner walkways. Restarting is instant, which is good because you'll be restarting a lot early on.

Why Choose Stilts Run
If you've burned out on every other one-button game on the arcade shelf, Stilts Run actually does something different with the formula. The stilt physics make every stop feel risky in a way that flat-platform runners don't. It's not gonna replace your main game, but it's a solid 15-minute time killer when you just wanna test your timing. The downside is it can feel a little thin on content after you've cleared the levels once.
